We decided to get married back in 2004, our first thing we did was take a trip to “The Land of Smiles” or as most people refer to it, Thailand. We do all we can to find ways to travel all over the world every year. Fast forward to today, we now have 4 amazing kids that have that same travel bug. This is where we share experiences, retell our stories, and give travel tips that will hopefully help you enjoy the world like we have.
Meet Tyler
I have always loved travel. My first international trip was when I took a trip with my Dad to Cancun, Mexico when I was 12 years old. (Climbing the Pyramid at Chichen Itza was amazing) This experience opened my eyes to a different world. When I turned 19, I decided to serve as a missionary for my church and went to Thailand and lived there for two years! This only fueled my love for other people and cultures. I met Erin in 2002 and we got married in 2004. One year into our marriage we moved from Salt Lake City, Utah to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Thunderbird, School of Global Management and get an MBA in International Business. Since that time we have now traveled to 14 different countries and 100’s of different locations. Things continue to change and our family has grown to include 4 amazing kids, but that has not stopped our love of travel and the experiences that you gain by learning and experiencing other cultures.
Meet Erin
The best thing that has ever happened to me. Mother of 4 and keeps our family together. Surprised she has not given up on me yet. When she is not taking care of the kids and acting as their own personal taxi she loves to explore and figure out what our next adventure is. Erin got us into running Spartans and still says I should try a half marathon with her someday but I have not been convinced. A few places still on her bucket list are: Seeing the northern lights in Scandinavia. Visiting the penguins and exploring Antarctica, and always making sure we find a way to take our kids where ever we go.
Our Crazy Family
